Event description:
V rámci druhého ročníku filmové přehlídky Minulost v Přítomnosti, která se koná ve dnech 6. až 8. března 2026, proběhne promítání třech filmů podle předlohy Arnošta Lustiga. Snímky Dita Saxová (7. 3. v 19:00) a Modlitba pro Kateřinu Horovitzovou (8. 3. v 17:30) režiséra Antonína Moskalyka doplní studentský snímek Sousto od Jana Němce. Sobotní projekci doplní diskuse s dcerami slavných otců – Evou Lustigovou a Pavlínou Moskalykovou. Akci pořádá Centrum paměti a dialogu Bubny.

What comes to mind when you hear the name Arnošt Lustig?
Perhaps not much, perhaps nothing , and that would be a shame. FestivAL100, an international celebration of humanity, is being created to mark the 100th anniversary of Arnošt Lustig’s birth. The program conveys a message about the power of humanity as reflected in his work.
At the same time, it emphasizes inalienable human rights, without which “man is just an animal that speaks human language.”
