V sále Arnošta Lustiga proběhne prezentace nové jubilejní edice vybraných mezinárodně oceněných povídek, románů a raných děl tohoto významného autora, připravené ke stému výročí jeho narození.
Jubilejní edice zahrnuje jak tři audioknihy zlatého fondu povídek Arnošta Lustiga i grafického románu Markéty Pilátové Arnoštova cesta v podání předních interpretů tak i vydání digitalizovaných děl beletrie Arnošta Lustiga Městskou knihovnou v Praze (E-knihovna.cz) v rámci projektu Praha – město literatury (UNESCO Creative Cities Network).

What comes to mind when you hear the name Arnošt Lustig?
Perhaps not much, perhaps nothing , and that would be a shame. FestivAL100, an international celebration of humanity, is being created to mark the 100th anniversary of Arnošt Lustig’s birth. The program conveys a message about the power of humanity as reflected in his work.
At the same time, it emphasizes inalienable human rights, without which “man is just an animal that speaks human language.”
