Posláním literární soutěže Mladí HUMANisté je rozvíjet ve studentech tvůrčí talent, posilovat v nich toleranci, humanismus a demokratické hodnoty. Východiskem je přitom práce s literárním odkazem a životním příběhem Arnošta Lustiga. Studenti píší úvahu, povídku nebo báseň
na téma „To dobré v člověku se projevuje činem“. Soutěže se účastní vybrané střední školy z Brna, St. Pöltenu a Vídně.

What comes to mind when you hear the name Arnošt Lustig?
Perhaps not much, perhaps nothing , and that would be a shame. FestivAL100, an international celebration of humanity, is being created to mark the 100th anniversary of Arnošt Lustig’s birth. The program conveys a message about the power of humanity as reflected in his work.
At the same time, it emphasizes inalienable human rights, without which “man is just an animal that speaks human language.”
