Event description:
V rámci aktivit FestivAL100 pořádá kulturní centrum Skalka v Mníšku pod Brdy večer spojující dramatizaci raných povídek Arnošta Lustiga Naděje a Velká bílá cesta s hudebním doprovodem Anny Paulové (klarinet) a Jiřího Lukeše (akordeon). V režii Evy Lustigové účinkuje Gabriela Míčová a Jiří Lábus. Večer se uskuteční v romantickém prostředí barokního areálu Skalka, v němž působili původně benediktinští mniši a později františkáni. Areál byl podle návrhů Kryštofa Dientzenhofera dokončen v r. 1694.

What comes to mind when you hear the name Arnošt Lustig?
Perhaps not much, perhaps nothing , and that would be a shame. FestivAL100, an international celebration of humanity, is being created to mark the 100th anniversary of Arnošt Lustig’s birth. The program conveys a message about the power of humanity as reflected in his work.
At the same time, it emphasizes inalienable human rights, without which “man is just an animal that speaks human language.”
