Event description:
Spolek Krajinou přílivu uspořádal v uplynulých měsících několik workshopů pro žáky ZŠ Palmovka. Výtvarná reflexe žáků inspirovaná autobiografickým románem Arnošta Lustiga Dům vrácené ozvěny a Novou libeňskou synagogou. Tento vzdělávací projekt uskutečnil spolek Krajinou přílivu u příležitosti slavnostního stého jubilea narození libeňského rodáka Arnošta Lustiga a odhalení pamětní desky na budově ZŠ Palmovka. V průběhu prezentace přečte Kajetán Písařovic úryvky textů z románu Dům vrácené ozvěny, s nimiž žáci pracovali.

What comes to mind when you hear the name Arnošt Lustig?
Perhaps not much, perhaps nothing , and that would be a shame. FestivAL100, an international celebration of humanity, is being created to mark the 100th anniversary of Arnošt Lustig’s birth. The program conveys a message about the power of humanity as reflected in his work.
At the same time, it emphasizes inalienable human rights, without which “man is just an animal that speaks human language.”
