Výstava připomene propojení Arnošta Lustiga s brněnským kulturním prostředím. Pod kurátorským vedením Tino Kratochvila a Veroniky Smyslové budou představeny fotografie zachycující setkání spisovatele s významnými osobnostmi města– fotografem Jeffem Kratochvilem, sochařem Jaromírem Gargulákem, hercem Boleslavem Polívkou a dalšími. Fotografie doprovodí autentické vzpomínky těch, kteří Lustiga osobně znali, a zprostředkují tak osobitý pohled na jeho vztah k Brnu. Doprovodný program nabídne čtení, panelové diskuse i edukační workshopy pro školy a veřejnost. Více informací a vstupenky na webu muzeumbrna.cz. Ve spolupráci s Muzeem města Brna – Arnoldovou vilou.

What comes to mind when you hear the name Arnošt Lustig?
Perhaps not much, perhaps nothing , and that would be a shame. FestivAL100, an international celebration of humanity, is being created to mark the 100th anniversary of Arnošt Lustig’s birth. The program conveys a message about the power of humanity as reflected in his work.
At the same time, it emphasizes inalienable human rights, without which “man is just an animal that speaks human language.”
